Having A Taste Of The Special Brew...

We enjoyed Breakfast in Bed,

Customised a wicker heart to put on my late mum's grave, as it will be four years tomorrow when she passed away.

 Now its added to my mum's grave.↓

 Made full use of the sunshine....

Visited the nearby lake

Back home for some Special Brew....

Old For New

It being Saturday,

Time to get out of the house...  

Road trip to Alcester.

  On three postive notes

Got some lovely stuff from the Charity shops

 &

Minimalist shopping at Waitrose

 &

 free coffee at Waitrose

 However one of the charity shops gave me one of the now defunct £5 notes.

(It stopped being legal tender yesterday)

(So I couldn't spend it.

And the bank was closed,

so I couldn't change it in there)

So hubby went back in to the offending Charity Shop to change the old £5 for a new £5...

 With the now crisp new £5,

 I used it to get the Dougal haircut cut back..

One Hard Choice...

Friday had arrived so quickly.

I had to cope with the Friday Madness...for Job 1

Handed over the sleeping aid.↓↓

(It smells strongly of French Lavender)

Had a little Friday Feeling Sing & Dance with my mop and bucket...

The most hardest choice today is which 70's CD was I going to play and sing along too in the Sexy Beast.🎶

 Which 70's song did I put on repeat and sing along with twice?

 

One Sniff Then Zzzz

Today I had to vote.

(It was for the local elections) 

(The General Election is on June 8th)

So off I went before I did Job 1.

 Found something interesting in my dad's newspaper:

I had to dig out the French Lavender for a parent who has got trouble sleeping.... 

It's so strong.....
He will soon nod off!

Welcome to my Hump of the Week

Job 1 was full of madness,bedlam and chaos rolled into one.

While I was in the middle of the road crossing over the children.

A car drove on the pavement, 

overtook the car in front of him, then done a U-turn in front of me!!

 As a result to this..

I went shopping at Asda at the end of that shift...

Then the music started...

Time for a bit of singing along with:

 then one of my favourites came on..

I sung nice and loud while walking the aisles

Feeling so much better now.

Now for a little play with Henry.... 

 

 

Trying To Get At The Red Stuff

Back to work after 3 days.

Red car nearly took me out on the return to Job 1.

Queued in the Post Office for 25 minutes.

The woman behind me kept using word Funk every 5 minutes!

(Later I heard her asking nicely for the £7.50 in the account when she got finally got served)

Lots of people were banging their gums, huffing and puffing wating to be serviced.

Annual blood test after that fun.

My blood was being tight

 (as normal)

Couldn't get any from my arm,

Next best thing on top of my hand....

(Oooo it hurt, and had to look away from having it done!)

 What better after that....?

Coffee of course!

 

Using The Bank Holiday Monday To Enjoy Coffee

Woo Hoo!

 Another Bank Holiday Monday.

No work for me or hubby.

Now to make the most of it....

Off for coffee and chat..

Bumped into former and present co-workers.

We walked around the gardens and got caught in heavy rain shower

Just got under cover in time..

Visited the Jinny Ring...

Nice item and nice price

 (£8.50)

More coffee needed...

At least the sun came out when we got home!

 Back on the wobbly work wheel tomorrow.
