Picks up the shopping list.
Now out we go.
Off to a good place in Stratford upon Avon.
We gave in some things.
Now to look around...for bargains..
Lloyd loom time!
Put our bargains in the car.
Now to do some food shopping.
Once done.
Coffee and nibble time!
Back home we go...
Once home.
Unpacked the car.
Bargains from Stratford↓
While Hubby is putting the food shopping away.
I sort my Craft Room out and insert the nice bit of Lloyd Loom↓
No liquid lunch today.
With added coffee↓
Then to take something back to The Range.
We parks in Car Park 4.
First stop was to take our Christmas Decoration back to The Range for a refund. I got two woolly hats on the reduced stand.
However when I got to the till to pay them, it came up as full price not reduced.
Waited for 5 minutes for someone to help.
The woman who gave us a refund earlier, sorted it out :)
Next stop was WHSmith to get my newspaper.
No point going to self service, the till goes red when the voucher gets scanned.
Waits for the two customers in front to be served.
First customer spends £44 on reduced bits.
Second customer spends £11 on the national lottery.
Once my voucher is scanned, I am out of here.
We then popped into a Charity Shop who I made a friend a few weeks ago. I showed him where the rainbow laces I bought a couple of weeks ago is now....
He was pleased.
The next Charity shop has some unicorns I had to have!
Next up, hubby replaced the Monday cup he broke.
Now to go and visit my parents....
I had a good catch up.
Then off to Sainsburys we go...
Sequins time!
We got some bits.
The woman next to me spent £108 and didn't blink!
Coffee and nibble.
That was a certain Yorkie advert I liked....↓
Back home to unpack my bargains.
Nice bowl↓
Nice cup of brew time↓
Looks into today's newspaper.
Hubby starts on the tea.
We watch James Whale.
Tea time.
Now for a little pick me up↓
We caught up with the news and newspaper review.
Going to have a extra hour in bed!

Filling In The Gaps!

My last credit card bill was so big, before I opened it I actually heard a drum roll - Rita Rudner
Hi all 👍
Just a quick update from the last one I did 4 weeks ago...💥
I broke up for the Summer Holiday from my lollipop job 🍭
I had some nice cards, presents and words from the parents and children.
I wore hubby out on his week off from work ...↓
We visited Evesham, Stratford upon Avon, and Kidderminster↓
For the rest of the time off,
It involves:
  1. Baking
  2. Blogging (only 6 more weeks of blog posts to write)
  3. Booking a holiday to Las Vegas for the next school holiday
  4. Getting back to using my sewing machine(s)....
  5. Sequinned outfits will have to be worn too 😎
I have published two weeks of May.
Just as we went to Blackpool for Whitsun.
We didn't bump into Russ Abbot while we were there....↓
(Hubby's late dad was there in Blackpool when they were filming the TV series September Song which was released in 1993↓)
Hopefully the blog will be updated by the time I get back to work.....🙏

Stratford, Here We Come!

If I were two-faced, would I be wearing this one? - Abraham Lincoln
Welcome to my roadtrip Tuesday 🚗
Breakfast and Brew.
Just after 8am, I had a phone call from the Councl Gas Department saying sorry for sending out the letter yesterday, telling me that are taking me to court to get access to my house to do a gas check.
(Even though they did the gas check last Wednesday!)
Great start for the day!
Gets dressed.
Now to get out of the house...
First stop was to do my Councillor duties of checking the Recreation Ground.
No newspaper at the local shop.
(It was the same last Tuesday)
Oh dear.
Files my paperwork.
Now onwards to Stratford upon Avon.
The parking charges had gone up today.
£5.50 for 4 hours.
Lots of things in the Charity Shops.
Really good cup in one shop.
More walking and looking in shops.
Cream teas time!
Yum!
Then off to more walking about.
While we were chatting to the nice Parking Attendant, a car mounted the pavement and nearly took us out!
I told the passenger who got out of the car,
"Thanks for trying to take us out!"
She grumbled sorry and crossed the road.
Said goodbye to our friend and carried onto the next Charity Shop.
That is so nice!
Nice hat, nice price.....£350..
We had look at the market.
Looked at the river.
We had a few more Charity Shops to visit.
Got more bargains.
We ate our lunch in the car.
Then off to the Recycle Centre at Stratford Household site.
Plenty of bargains I got from there too.
On the way back, the Repairs department phoned me to say, the Pointing will be done in November, and someone is coming to look at the windows and doors. Fingers crossed we can have new windows soon....
Back home to see a large van parked over the drive.
The Council is finishing off clearing next door's house.
(The stuff left out by the back door was starting to smell)
Unpacked all the bargains we got.
Hubby strimmed the grass out the front.
I put in tonight's tea.
The men left after clearing everything out of next door's house.
The cooker and washing machine has finally gone!
Tea is ready.
Now to watch one of the Dvds we bought today.
Sleep Tea Time.
Let's hope for a sunny hump day tomorrow 🐫
