Finally Sorting It Out!

Nothing is so simple it cannot be misunderstood - Albert Einstein
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Heardle Time.
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Time for breakfast with brew.
Dressed.
8 years ago, I started this blog.
Thank you all for reading it :)
 Out for a little ride....
Drops off son at his final day at work.
Next, to pick up a coffee...
Then to pick up some plastic boxes from Dunelm.
We had to share the lift with a trolley.
Nice, but go no where to put it!
Gets the two boxes.
Goes outside and realises they have overcharged me for the boxes.
They updated the prices of the boxes on the system but left the old price on the boxes.
£3 refund given!
Then off to fill up Sexy Beast .
Got the newspaper.
Tool Station was next to pick up a empty tool box.
Final stop was Screw Fix.
Another empty tool box got.
Back home.
Coffee machine was put on.
Now to start tidying up the back garden.
After 25 minutes...
It's coffee time!
I got 3 rubble bags filled from the back garden.
They joined the 3 black bags from yesterday.
Then it started to rain.
Hubby grabbed his rain mac and went off down to the Household tip.
I carried on sorting out the back garden.
Filled another 3 rubble bags for his return.
Filled his car again.
Off he went again.
Back garden looks a lot better now.
Can get to the outside toilet now.
(However we use the inside one)
Lunch time.
Filled all the 7 tool boxes.
We have to start on making room in the Dining room to put them in!
As it's our 11th Wedding Anniversary on Monday, we have a action packed weekend to celebrate.
We had a early tea.
As hubby and younger son were going food shopping before it starts getting dark!
I gave them sloppy wet ones 💋💋 before they left.
I looked into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1972:
Rod Stewart - You Wear It Well.
UK No.1 on this day in 2000:
Madonna - Music
I wrote two blog posts.
When hubby came back.
I had flowers!!
Starting the celebrations early!
Helped him put the shopping away.
Sleep Tea Time.
Now to bed with a warm hubby to enjoy some more Friday Feeling 🎈

When It Goes Wrong, It Does!

Say you're sorry. No one says you have to mean it - Jeff Green
Welcome to my Saturday Fun 🌹
A lovely hug is what was ordered!
Brew with Breakfast.
Now to get dressed.
(No thermal vest needed)
Out we go...
First stop was....
Sainsburys↓
We got a self-service scanner.
However the price of the binders was £2.50 on the scanner, funny it was £1.50 on the shelf.
One man Sale Assistant in a suit says, it will correct itself at the till....
Yeah right!
Goes to the till, and we were charged £2.50!
Then the voucher for the i got stuck in the coupon slot.
On goes the red light...
That was sorted.
After paying for the things,
I went to the customer service desk,
And got a £3 refund!
Now off to see my mum and dad.
I gave them the some new flowers.
Had a catch up with what had been happening for the past week!
Then off for a coffee....
It was nice to sit outside...
Then the wind got up and it was freezing cold...
Back inside we go...
Afterwards we go and look around the reduced plant stand.
We goes inside to pay for them, when suddenly on the sound system comes:
We walked back outside until it finished.
The Sales Assistant on the till says:
"Music effects people in different ways"
Back home with the flowers!
As we got some nice wind...
Out comes the lollipop coats to dry on the line.
The man on the fence was being kept busy in the wind...
Sorting through some more late Father-in-law's Christmas Present lists↓
Sets up another blog to write until I get this published after the funeral.
Attempting To Be A Funny Domestic Goddess
Tea Time.
Then I looked inside of today's newspaper.

Bringing New Flowers!

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it
 - Terry Pratchett
Welcome to my Sunday 🌷🌹
We had a bit of lie-in.
Still had hugs and kisses
With brew and breakfast.
I put on the thermal vest.
&
Rain mac.
Out for a ride in Sexy Beast.
Pump up the tyres.
Fill up with fuel.
Then back home we go.
The coffee machine goes on.
So does the washing machine...
Once two loads of washing was done.
On goes the tumble drier.
The meantime I made the red velvet cake for tomorrow.
The oven was turned down low,
While we went out in the rain again.
Checked hubby's tyre pressures.
Filled up with fuel.
Then nipped into the Co-op for some milk.
Roses anyone?
As normal the red light kept going off.
It doesn't like reduced food!
Then off to give my mum and dad's grave a tidy up and put new flowers on.
Then back home to unpack the shopping.
Got the cake out to cool down.
In the meanwhile, finished off the soup.
Then I wrote 2 blog posts.
We had Gammon for tea.
Once finishing my blog posts.
I had to finish the cake as well.
Finally got to look into today's newspaper.
