Getting It Covered Up!

If I were two-faced, would I be wearing this one? -
 Abraham Lincoln.
Welcome to aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
The sun is back.
Heardle Time.
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast with Brew.
Dressed.
(Thermal Vest goes on!)
Running a bit late...
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 😘 before I left.
I have lots of layers on.
I put on my Summer coat, panta hat under my Summer cap with my gloves.
Got the newspaper.
Now to turn on my lights.
Let's go to work 🍭
In the space of twenty minutes, I already gave out 5 BOINGs and tested everyone's brakes at the very last minute!
At least the sun was out!
I had to finish early as I had a blood test.
Off I went to that.
Couldn't find a vein in my left or right arm...
Top of the hand it had to be got out of!
I asked about my appointment for the hospital, as it has been 4 months and I have heard nothing. I have to phone the hospital myself as they have no record of any letters about being referred onto the hospital!
Back home I go.
On goes the coffee machine.
Time to write yesterday's blog post.
Not before some coffee might help!
Wrote yesterday's blog post.
I chopped up some vegetables ready for the stir fry tonight.
Light lunch time.
I have to pick up a magic bag from Morrisons later....
Not to do part two!
No room in the Hall Car Park.
I had to park round the corner.
I wore my Summer Hat, and Summer Coat.
I saw one of my friends sitting in his car.
He left his car and joined me to turn on my lights when we bumped into another friend to talk too.
After chatting, I went to get my big stick out of Sexy Breast, and then me and my friend went to turn on my lights!
We then sat in the square and waited for our other friend to join us.
When she did.
It was rabbit time!
After we had a good yak!
It was time to say goodbye.
Part two time!
Oh dear, two more BOINGs handed out!
Last minute braking on the otherside of the road!
At least I finished in one piece!
Home Time.
Cup of Brew needed!
Put the oven on for everyone else's tea.
(As I am having Stir Fry)
Hubby come back home and has a sloppy wet one 😘
We go and fetch the Magic Bag from Morrisons.
Lots of nice things in there!
Time to dish up the food when we got back!
Meat Free Stir Fry.
Yum.

Brew with a very warm hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
I had blood test appointment early.
I get there early.
I tried to make the Blood Nurse smile.
Failed....
First I was weighed.
"Best to take off my trainers, as it will be a unfair advantage!" I said.
No smile there.
When I stepped on the scales...
I said:
"The red light is flashing."
No smile.
Blood pressure was fine.
The invisible veins were playing up, so the small needle had to come out.
I wished her a good day afterwards.
I picked up husband and we got the newpaper.
Coffee time
&

I had my Amazon orders arrive↓
I back up more my stuff off the computer onto my new portable hard drive.
My Birthday card comes from my lovely friend.
Lunchtime.
Back to backing up more stuff.
The Waitrose driver couldn't find my house to deliver my shopping. I went outside to wave to him as I gave him directions.
As I was taking the shopping into the house, a big lorry couldn't get past his Waitrose van. Lots of horn was given.
I said thank you for my shopping, as he reversed his van so the big lorry could get past.
Tea at 3 time.
Put the shopping away.
More backing up of the stuff off the dodgy computer.
Tea goes in the oven.
I ordered some Sage,
(To burn it around the house to ward off spirits!)
More Judge Rinder is needed.
Tea is served.
We tried to watch series 6 of House of Cards.
Oh dear....
We gave up after 20 minutes.
At least my new computer is coming tomorrow.
Back on with the blogging \o/
Sleep Tea time.
More fun to have tomorrow!

What A Day I Had!!!

Don't accept rides from strange men, and remember that all men are strange - Robin Morgan
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
Going to be the tales of two halves today....
Sit down, put the seat belt on, and lets go together for a interesting ride...
That lavender knocked me out \o/
Slept like a log all night...
Now for↓
 Brew and Hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
We ran out of time for the walk.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he went to work.
I had a blood test to go for..
Out in Sexy Beast I went↓
Once I got the newspaper, onto Bromsgrove I went. However I ended up playing cat and mouse with a black Mini.
Who tried was trying to out fox me.
Once I got on the Bromsgrove Highway, he stumped up some speed (From somewhere) and over took me before going up the hill.
I came down the hill, and overtook him.
(He not like that at all)
He put his pedal to the metal and proceeded to go past me at speed (90+ mph)
(I wasn't going to break speed limits to get to him, I'm not in a rush!)
He then stopped in the outer lane for 4 miles until he got to the big island and pushed in front of 3 cars to get into the inside lane....
After that I get to the hospital.
I was a bit early, so I peaked inside the newspaper↓
Jet Black (born Brian John Duffy) is an English drummer and founding member of punk rock and new wave band The Stranglers. Since 2015, he has been a non-touring member of the band.He is 82 years old 🎈
With my mask on, I went into the hospital↓
I washed my hands when I went in.
There was a one way  to the blood test department. I had my temperature read, and contact details read. No numbers given out to due COVID-19. I was the second person to go in.
I was called in. Gave the nurse my NHS number, she looked up on the computer and said:
"We don't do Doctor referrals for blood tests no more, but as you are here, I will do it!".
(Great, no one told me about this change!)
At that point of the conversation, she was having a bad day, and it was going to be took out on me. She first tried getting blood out of my right arm, with no luck. She then tried on the left arm.
"Lie full down!" She shouted at me.
Getting blood out of my arm doesn't normally hurt this much, it did this time.
"If they can't get blood out of your arm at your doctors, you will have to go the your Alexander Hospital for it!" She told me when I got up and grabbed my handbag.
(I had a nasty feeling I wasn't wanted back after that situation!)
At least the postive out of that, I didn't have to pay for car parking!
I went to my near-by Post Office to post the face masks I made to Wales↓
It was nice to chat to a friendly face after that encounter earlier on.
Off to Asda to get some things for the cake I am making tomorrow↓
A woman got a trolley before me. She then went to wipe down her trolley. However as she held the top of the bottle↓
The bottom of the bottle came away, fell to the floor, and all the contents went all over the carpet! She was not best pleased!
After she went, I wiped the trolley down and washed my hands.
Got my bits.
Chatted to the cleaner. It has been over a 12 months since I saw him last. I did a loud laugh which echoed around the store....
I told him to keep smiling...
And I headed off to pay. While I was waiting, a nice song came on the radio for me to sing along with:
Even the woman at the till enjoyed me singing...
She said,"It's the music in here, keeps me sane!".
I replied,"Well they haven't banned me from singing just yet!" I laughed.
It just started to rain when I got back.
Unloaded the shopping.
Now I need some coffee!
 I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Late lunch time↓
I was giving Julio the Janome a rest...
Instead I got a Apple Pie to defrost for later.
Mince, onions, and mushrooms were fried together and put in the oven.
Once hubby arrived back..
He had a sloppy red 💋
Dish up the grub↓
We started on Season 7 of NYPD Blue↓
Now onto work.
Starts with a big tune↓
I got back home, and jumped into a hot shower.
( I finally got the plaster off the nurse put over my left arm when she drew the blood)
It didn't look nice↓
I found some Witch Hazel that was over 12 years out of date. Oh well here goes↓
It stopped it hurting for the time beginning.
Sleep tea time↓
Onto making the cake for the LGBTQ Bake Off competition on Saturday tomorrow....
Fingers crossed nothing will go wrong in the baking part I hope!
