Two For The Price Of One!

It may be that your sole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others - Anon
Welcome aboard onto my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
I did the Heardles:
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Covid Test time!
Breakfast with brew.
Dressed.
(Thermal vest goes on!)
Now to leave the house.
Hubby has to go and see HR this morning.
He still is postive. So no Sloppy Wet one 💋
I wear my woolly panda hat under my sun hat.
Still can wear my Summer coat.
I gets my newspaper.
Collects big stick and turns on my lights!
Oh the fun I have!
Cars on the otherside are failing to stop!
When they do, they have to test their brakes!
I call it the Flintstone move!
Few more BOINGs given out!
Nice for a lorry to park on double yellow lines opposite me!
At least I finished in one piece!
I visits the Co-op for bits to make some homemade soup!
Back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Takes up breakfast to older son who is suffering from Covid.
Hubby has to stay at work with a mask on.
HR said,"Government says 5 days, even though he is still postive!"
Great.
Coffee time.
Now to dig out the Soup Maker.
Then to use some apples.
Made an apple crumble↓
That was put in the oven ready for later.
Soup was done as well.
The rest of the apples I am giving to one of my friends I talk to in the afternoon.
Lunchtime.
Now back out to do the afternoon shift!

I put on my Summer coat.
I went to turn on my light.
Someone had done a lovely Pillar Box Topper.
I turn on my lights.
I collect my big stick.
Then off for a rabbit with friends.
My friend is happy with the bag of apples.
Then it was time to say goodbye.
The fun returns.
As I lower my stick, the cars stops!
However not on the otherside of the road!
Finished in one piece!
I now have to go and have a Flu jab.
I got in there early, and I had the Covid Booster in the other arm!
I had to pick up a Magic Bag from Morrisons.
I had a look around while waiting...
Oh go on then, I haven't got this one↓
Picks up Magic Bag.
Now for a quick drink↓
Back home.
Puts away all the things from the Magic Bag.
Two pizzas go in.
On goes the Meat Free Stir-Fry.
Younger son comes back and says sorry for being moody yesterday.
He says: "Once he is 18 years old, (Next June), he is moving out and going to live with his friend, in Bromsgrove!"
That was nice to drop that on me.
Better start planning to convert his bedroom to a crafting room  now \o/
Stir Fry Time.
Yum.
Now to look into today's newspaper:
UK No.1 on this day in 1987:
M/A/R/R/S - Pump Up The Volume

One more episode of
"Yellowstone" to watch.
Sleep tea time.
Back to that big King Size Bed on my own 🛏

What's Worst Than Finding A Worm In An Apple??

I can live for two months on a good compliment - Mark Twain
Welcome to my Hot Feeling Tuesday 💟
I was awake at 5am.
Cold shower.
Downstairs to enjoy a brew...
Back upstairs just as the alarm was going off.
Opened the curtains↓
I'm glad it's a bit cloudy.
Heardle Time.
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers↓
Breakfast and brew.
Dressed.
Now out for some fresh air!
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one 😘
Puts on my summer coat.
Gets my neighbour's magazine and my newspaper.
Nice bit of parking on double yellow lines on each side of the road↓
The X19 bus just about got through the Gap!
Collected my big stick, and went up the road to turn on my lights.
Turns on my lights.
Now to Rock and Roll...🍭
I was glad it was cloudy...
A few BOINGs had to be given out.
One car does the Limbo dance under my stick.
The Audi afterwards does the same, but not before he received a BOING and looking up while I did it!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Put the coffee maker on.
I have a blood test in 2 hours.
Tried to sit outside,
It was too warm!
Back inside with the fan on!
Sorted out what we are having for tea.
Off I go for the blood test.
Only waits 5 minutes.
In and out and back home!
Light lunch
Then back out to round 2:
Even hotter when I get to work!
On goes my Summer coat.
Turn on my lights.
Buys my ice lolly.
Collects my big stick.
Off to sit in the park!
My view:
Who did I see coming out of the road, at the end of the park?
My younger Gold Digging Younger Brother in his white van. I could tell he was looking at me when he went past.
I have nothing to say to him at all!
One friend appeared and shared a doughnut with me, however it had the hole but no jam was in it!
We had a good rabbit like you do!
Once it was nearly time to start.
I said goodbye to my friend.
Now for an action packed second half!
One red BMW tried to speed past me, until my big stick came out and it had to stop!
I mentioned where I be wearing ice cubes to one dad, and he looked round at me when he got across the road!
One man gave me a compliment about he good I do the job.
He said,"I come from Worcester everyday, and go through Inkberrow. The Lollypop lady has no clue on stopping the traffic like you do. You just stick in out! I saw you this morning stopping the traffic!"
I thanked him for his compliment.
Few more BOINGs handed out as well.
It was trying to rain...
I loved every drop of rain...
It didn't rain much....
But I needed every drop!
Just as I got finished,
I got chatting to someone about the plums in his garden.
He has 300 plums in his garden.
I told him, "My Bramley Apple Tree is heaving wiht apples this year, only 2 years ago, I made 38 apple pies, and still had loads of apples left over.Had to keep getting the pastry from all the supermarkets. One freezer is still full of them."
Then he said this to me
"What's worst than finding a worm in your apple?"
"Don't know," I replied.
"When you chew into an apple and only find half a worm!"
I laughed at that!
Then we got into talking about Pear Trees, Gooseberries, and cherries for 20 minutes.
I said goodbye to him.
And back to Sexy Beast I go.
Then back home I go.
Puts the tea in the oven.
Get's yesterday's blog post wrote.
Hubby comes home and has a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is served!
Yum.
After tea, I look into today's newspaper.
