10/10?

An expert is a person who can take something you knew already and make it sound confusing - Herbert Prochnow
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Before getting dressed, and breakfast.
It was Heardles time...
The 60s Heardle was:
Now for breakfast and brew.
The weather forecast was a bit hit and miss.
Rain this morning and some said nothing.
On goes the summer skirt.
(No Thermal vest!)
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave.
The hall car park wasn't open in time for me to park in there. I got the newspaper and next door's magazine. I was trusting those dark clouds. On goes the big coat with the hood.
Turns on the lights.
Let's go to work!
As I stood there it started to rain.
I knew the pine cone back home has closed up for a reason!
The rain wasn't due until 9am!
On goes the hood!.
Cold, wet, and windy!
Lovely.
I had to give a few BOINGs out for those car drivers failing to STOP and going under my big stick!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Puts the coffee machine on.
Now to chop some vegetables up for tonight's tea....
Chop, chop, chop.
Now for some much needed coffee!
Sorted out more washing that I did yesterday.
The washing machine had to go back on as well!
I hope that washer can hold out!
More housework up to lunch.
Nice juicy sandwich...
Younger son got a Wobbly box for me from Lidl :)
Now to do the afternoon shift.
I looked at the dark clouds.
The big coat goes on.
Puts on my lights.
Nice Pillar Box cover.
Sits down, and waits for my friends to come.
Friends arrive.
Rabbit time!
I looked  up and my Supervisor arrived.
I said goodbye to my friends and not to be observed doing my job!
One of the parents, asked my Supervisor:
"Are you going to give her 10/10?"
My Supervisor laughed.
One car went under my stick.
The sun came out,
I was nice and sweaty in my big coat.
At least I survived!
Said goodbye to my Supervisor.
Off home I went.
Time for a brew...
Puts on the tea.
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one when he came home.
Tea is served.
Yum!
Now to look into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1961:
The Temperance Seven - You're Driving Me Crazy.
UK No.1 on this day in 1996:
Gina G - Ooh Aah...Just a little bit.
USA No.1 on this day in 1985:
Wham - Everything She Wants.
Some of the problem was cut back,
However not enough,as the TV picture is still disappearing!
Now to enjoy the sunset!
Sleep Tea time.
Off to a nice warm bed......

Points Mean Prizes?

I don't want to sound paranoid, but that electronic line judge knows who I am - John McEnroe

Happy Hump of the Week 🐫
Brew with warm hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Plugged in the tablet...
I gave hubby a wet sloppy 💋 before he went to work.
Kids had to get up, to start their on-line lessons for school.
All ready for the interview.
I thought the interview went well.
I will find out later if I got it or not.
Now for some cold fresh air!
I gets the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine.
When I come back, I go around to see my neighbour and take his magazine round.
I need a coffee to warm up!
I write yesterday's blog post.
&
Add some great tunes from my Jukebox.
I just needed a light lunch,so I had a bowl of soup!
Quick read of the newspaper.
Lou  Rawls was an American singer, songwriter, actor, voice actor, and record producer. Rawls released more than 60 albums, sold more than 40 million records, and had numerous charting singles, most notably his song "You'll Never Find Another Love like Mine". He worked as a film, television, and voice actor. He was also a three-time Grammy-winner, all for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
He died on this day aged 72 in 2006.

Some lovely post came...↓
Then it was time to prepare tonight's tea.
Onions chopped, mushrooms, garlic, spinach, chopped chicken, and chopped tomatoes.
All fried and put into oven.
The noodles will be done in the last 10 minutes.
I tried to find a funny film to watch.
I have it on DVD.
(I am not spending hours trying to find it, and I am not renting it out for £3.49 on Amazon video!)
I found a great film on Netflix↓↓
Such a funny film, so many stars in it!
Belated Tea at 3.
I then found out  I didn't get the job I went for earlier.
(Let the gloating start!)
The reason was.....I didn't get enough points????????????
My religion is Jedi= -20pts
When I was at Junior,Middle and High School, I didn't stop at school for lunch, I went home. So I didn't have to deal with any dinnerladies =
-30 pts.
Going to be get sent further than Coventry 😶
Oh well, I have another interview on Friday for another job, let's hope that is a successful one.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋.
Tea is served.
So yummy.
We watched what was going on in America on the news......
Then we watched the newspaper review.
They put the wrong name up.
He is Andrew Pierce from the Daily Mail.
Nice cup of Sleep Tea...
Back on the baking and sewing tomorrow.
By the look of the temperatures tomorrow,
the thermal knickers will be worn too!

Hold On To My Knickers Please!

“If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.” – Mario Andretti
Welcome to my Hump of the week🐫
Hospital visit and funeral today...
Let's kick the day off with tea in bed.
Gave our kids big kisses 💋💋.
We left the house before 9am.
I had to drink over 2 litres of water to have a ultersound done.
While they were looking about in my Womb.
I asked if they can see a baby in there!".
I didn't get a response.
Having a full bladder didn't help the situation.
Once the first part was done, I sped down the corridor, before the waterfall of pee decided to crash down to the floor!
The second part was interesting:
I gave my knickers to my husband to hold.
As I had to deal with a nice long probe with LUBE to be inserted somewhere....
(it looked like a device which held batteries)
(Pity I couldn't see those lovely images)
Once that was done,
I collected my knickers from my hubby.
I will have to try and see a doctor about the results next week....
We went over the hour in the car park..
£3.70 to get out of the car park.
Home for early lunch and coffee..
 Kissed hubby goodbye 💋
Off to work I go...↓
Had a quick peak of the Birthdays...
Paolo Nutini: Scottish singer (New shoes,Candy) is 32 years old.

Lee Van Cleef: American actor (For a Few Dollars More, Escape from NY),would have been 94 years old.
(He died aged 64 in 1989)
 Dave Dee(David John Harman):Singer (
Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich) died aged 67 in 2009

"Rawhide" with Clint Eastwood premieres on CBS TV in 1959.
Now into work.

I had a good time.

Now to get ready for the funeral.

Popped to see my mum for a chat↓
Where I have to go for the funeral service↓
 Waiting...
Someone looked me up and down, I stared back, and they stopped looked away
Hoping someone will fill the bench..
It was a full room with people having to stand up.
I didn't know anyone at the service at all.
I quietly left at the end.
Russell liked wearing his Winnie the Pooh tie for work↑
Off to work.
Came back to heat up the pie from the day before.
My younger brother dropped by for a chat about dad.
By the time he went, it was time for bed for everyone....
I had a cup of sleep tea...
I fell into a very deep deep sleep...🐪
